The paper presents and analyses findings from a study of electrokinetic characteristics and the structure of chromatin from interphase nuclei in buccal epithelium of patients with malignant and benign neoplasm of the breast depending on the age, degree of malignancy, and tumor spreadingpatterns. Breast cancer feature sarear rangementin nucleiofbuccalepitheliumascomparedtobenignneoplasm; specifically: decreasednumberofelectronegativenucleiwith increased number of heterochromatic granules and increased number of electropositive nuclei. These changes are most prominent in breast cancer of grade III with metastases to peripheral lymph nodes. Buccal epithelium of infiltrating ductalcarcinomafeaturedelectropositivenucleiwhichwere absent in benign neoplasm. In patients with lobular ductal fibroadenomatosis, the number of electronegative nuclei in buccal epithelium is significantly lower in the presence of proliferation of ductal epithelium.
