SPECIFICS OF BREAST CANCER IN THE AUTONOMOUS REPUBLIC OF CRIMEA
Ethnic differences in the breast cancer (BC) morbidity are present. The BC morbidity rate is significantly lower (41.9 per 100 thousand women) in the Crimean Tartar population compared to the Slav population (65.2 per 100 thousand women); in the reproductive age women, BC is detected more frequently in the Crimean Tartars (50.0%) compared to the Slavonians (24.9%). The higher morbidity in the Slav population is attributable to more adverse conditions of their reproductive behavior. The differences revealed in the morbidity and development of BC should be assessed and taken into account when planning screening programs, as well as with the view optimization of the treatment and follow-up of BC patients. ской этнической группе (65,2 на 100 тыс. женского населения).
