EXPRESSION OF PROTEIN KINASES D1 AND D2 IN TUMOR CELLS OF BREAST CANCER PATIENTS

For the first time the level of PKD1 and PKD2 (PKD1/2) expression and autophosphorylation/ activation was evaluated in tumor cells of 40 patients with histologically graded breast cancer. It was shown that the number of tumor cells with autophosphorylat- ed PKD1/2, unlike PKD1/2 positive cells, depends on histological type and grade of tumors. However, we did not found the correlation between the levels of PKD1/2 activation and expression of P-glycoprotein and also an- tigen of proliferating cells IPO-38.
