PROGNOSTIC MOLECULAR MARKERS IN PATIENTS WITH OVARIAN CANCER

It was established that the expression of drug resistance proteins (P-gp and GST) and apoptosis regulating proteins (р53 та Bcl-2) markedly correlates with the patients’ survival. Based on the immunohistochemical study of the expression of molecular markers of apoptosis and drug resistance proteins, prognostic factors of the course of disease were defined which will help to plan adequately the adjuvant treatment in patients with disseminated OC.
