PROGNOSTIC VALUE OF CHROMOSOMAL ABNORMALITIES IN ACUTE MYELOID LEUKEMIA IN CHILDHOOD

Results of cytogenetic investigation of leukemic cells in 75 children with acute myeloid leukemia were presented. On the basis of clinico-hematological investigations were determined, that chomosomal rearrangements had independent prognostic criteria, which adding neoplasia process estimation, correlation with resutls of event free survival in remission. The greatest vagueness of intermediate cytogenetic prognostic group on account of numerous therapeutic failure.
