EFFICACY DURING COMPLEX TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH BREAST CANCER
Comparative evaluation of different radiotherapy conditions during treatment of 227 patients with breast cancer was conducted. Long‑term results (after 15 years) of neoadjuvant thermoradiotherapy and traditional small‑fractional radiotherapy were analyzed. It was determined that application of hyperthermia as radiosensitizer during large‑fractional irradiation allows to decrease radiation induced complications, to cut period before radical surgery, to increase almost on 20.0% patients survivability.
