The purpose of this research was elucidation of diagnostic and prognostic importance of change of endothelin-1 (ET-1) level in plasma of blood of patients, operated concerning a colorectal cancer (CRC) on a background of obstruction of large bowel and abdominal ischemia in connection with violations of mesenteric circulation of blood. For determination of concentration of ET-1 we used the methods of chromatography and ELISA-analysis. In all inspected patients before operation considerable concentration of ET-1was detected. In a follow-up period at 31% patients are exposed by irreversible complications, showing up intestine necrosis and insolvency of anastomosis, here the concentration of ET-1 to 10 days remained high, that testifies to irreversibility of violations of microcirculation in an intestine, possibly due to the increase of vasoconstriction vessels due to the increase of concentration of ET-1. At 69% patients, operated concerning CRC, did not look after development of complications in a follow-up period, processes of ischemia were convertible, here the concentration of endothelin-1 gradually went down and to 10 days 5,8 ± 0,6 ng/ml. The dynamics of change the concentration of endothelin-1 in plasma of blood testifies to the presence of convertibility of metabolic processes, associate with the abdominal ischemia in connection with violations of mesenteric circulation of blood at a CRC.
