Objective: based on the analysis of modern scientific literature data and the results of own research on the violation of oxidative-reducing processes in the tissues of the body to determine the predictors of radia­tion and carcinogenic risks. The article substantiates the position that the oxidative metabolism is the most labile and sensitive system of life support of the organism. Its changes characterize the stress of any kind of etiology. The sequence of free radical processes, the formation of oxidative stress and the role of the ratio of antioxidants in the development of radiation irregularities are shown. Epidemiological observations and experimental data indicate a causal relationship between prolonged generation of ROS in cells of the body with damages to the genome (DNA mutations, single, double-breasted breaks, chromosomal aberrations, deletions, translocations), culminating in the formation of a neoplasm. That is, cytogenetic changes are caused by biochemical ones. At each stage of the development of oxidative stress, informative integral indicators are shown, indicating the efficacy of protection and the level of damage to biological systems and are predictors of the development of the next sections of carcinogenesis. It is shown that the level of carcinogenic effects of radiation is to some extent dependent on the genetically determined individual sensitivity of the organism. It can be determined by testing the lymphocyte irradiation in vitro with key biochemical and cytogenetic indicators of predictors, on the basis of which developed the passport of individual sensitivity of a person.
