IMMUNOMODULATING THERAPY IN COMBINED TREATMENT OF CERVICAL CANCER PATIENTS

The paper presents findings dealing with the clinical efficacy of an original domestic immunomodulator isolated from lactic-acid bacteria in a combined treatment of cervical cancer patients. This drug applied as part of post-surgery radiotherapy is shown to improve both humoral and cellular immunity. The drug is well tolerated by the patients and has no adverse effects.
