METASTASIZING PATTERN IN STAGE IV STOMACH CANCER
Basedonassessmentof 162 patients with stage IVstomachcancer, metastasizing patterns wereanalyzed. It is shown that, in terms of localization, metastases in the peritoneum with ascites as well as liver metastases rank first. In 72.8% cases, 2 to 6 remote metastases of varying localization are recorded. The most common is a combined lesion involving 2 or 3 organs. These findings should be taken into account when examining patients and developing the treatment tactics.
