LATE RESULTS OF SURGICAL AND COMPLEX METHODS OF TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH RECTAL CANCER STAGE II-III

88 patients with rectal cancer (RC) II- III stages were studied. A comparative analysis of their 5-year survival rates depending on the stage of disease and treatments was made. During 5 years after treatment of RC stage II in the combined treatment group (radiotherapy + surgery) survived 90.6% of patients, surgical treatment – 68,2%, the lowest rate was registered in the combined treatment group (radiotherapy + surgery + chemotherapy) – 62,5%. 5-year survival of patients with RC third stage after complex treatment was 54.5%, surgical treatment – 50,0%, combined treatment – 50%.
