THE ROLE OF MOLECULAR MARKERS IN DIAGNOSTICS OF LUNG CANCER SPREADING AND PROGNOSTIC IMPORTANCE OF ISOLATED TUMOR CELLS

Micrometastases of cancer or clusters of cancer cells were found in lymph nodes earlier estimated as not affected with help of monoclonal antibodies to cytoceratines in 21% of lung cancer patients. In 29.5% radically operated patients with lung cancer isolated tumor cells were found in bone marrow and established their negative influence on 3-year survival.
