Lyme-borreliosis is an infectious-transmissible disease with heterogeneous clinical manifestations in response to dissemination in human bodies the Borrelia-type gram-negative spirochetes. Aim: to present clinical cases of borrelious lymphadenopathy that simulated manifestations of malignant lymphoma. Two clinical observations were described — a woman of 43 years and a man of 66 years, in whom borrelious lymphadenopathy was masked under clinical manifestations of malignant lymphoma. In these cases the morphological and immunohistological studies diagnosed only cortical hyperplasia in removed lymph nodes. Targeted history of tick bite and specific IgG and IgM antibodies to Borrelia burgdoferi (ELISA and Western blots) allowed make diagnosis and antibacterial therapy. In the case of the second clinical observation, it was shown that prolonged borrelious infection may be a promoter of chronic lymphoid leukemia. Conclusions: patients with lymphadenopathy, fever and intoxication syndrome of unexplained genesis are advised to have a Lyme-borreliosis examination. Chronic borreliosis infection in patients with a history of malignant tumors increases the risk of developing a secondary malignancy.
