The results of comparative evaluation of postoperative complications, mortality and survival after radical surgical treatment of 264 patients with non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) IIB–III stage are presented. The comparison was realized in two groups of patients: survey group (97) — neoadjuvant chemotherapy with subsequent surgery; control group (167) — surgery alone. Both groups were compared by demographic index, concomitant diseases presence, performed surgery volume. There were no increase of postoperative complications and mortality in the survey group. The increase tendency of survival in patients received neoadjuvant chemotherapy was registered.
