A group of 131 patients with local advanced rectal cancer treated with endolymphal polychemotherapy (PCT) in a neoadjuvant regime showed an increase in the anti-tumor effects as compared to system administration of cytostatics. After this treatment, the number of cases with full tumor regression increased by 13.34%; and this scheme supplemented with endolymphal neoadjuvant interferon therapy increases the effect up to 20.4%. Proposed schemes of neoadjuvant endolymphal PCT in combination with interferon alpha-2b allows to increase the number of patients who can be subjected to radical surgery by 8–18% (respectively) compared to the group of patients treated with system PCT.
