Reportedarefindingsof P-glycoprotein(P-gp) expression in samples of breast cancer sarcoma (BCS) as well as its relationships with clinical characteristics and treatment efficacy. High levels of P-gp expression in the tumor tissue has been reported to be associated with poor prognosis and low survival rates. It is considered to be a marker of a more malignant phenotype. These findings may have important implications for the treatment of breast sarcoma patients, and warrant further prospective investigation in a larger patient population.
