The changes of the integral indicator of the life quality were studied among the cancer patients, undergoing the course of platinum-containing chemo- therapy and taking the supplementary treatments by the medicine, based on poliphenols of grape (PG). The following criteria were used to compare. The quality of life, and leicocits, trombocits, haemoglobin levels in the py course, after the I course and in 3 weeks. After the course of polichemotherapy the quality of patients’life gets adversely affected, particularly due to worsened general health, caused by dwindling contents of leicocits and trombocits in the peripheral blood. Supplementary treatment by PG leads to the improvement of the integral indicator of life quality, which is reflected in the subjec- tive accounts of the improved physical condition due to the increase in the trombocits and leicocits content in the peripferal blood. The beginning of the new chemothera- py course was delayed due to side-effects among 20% of patients from the control group and 2 times less often among the 10% patients prescribed PG.
