PRIMITIVE NEUROECTODERMAL TUMORS OF THE THORACIC CAVITY: THE RESULTS OF THE TREATMENT

Own results of treatment of patients with pri- mary peripheral primitive neuroectodermal malignant tu- mor localization are analyzed. The most convincing con- firmation of the diagnosis are the results of morphologi- cal and immunohistochemical investigations of the tumor. The efficacy of chemotherapy in all clinical observations, realized in partial tumor regression and different degrees of severity of medicinal pathomorphosis is noted. Com- bined treatment with neoadjuvant chemotherapy appears to be the most justified and should be used as the method of choice for this category of patients.
