EXPRESSION OF MOLECULAR MARKERS NF-ΚB, ER, PR, HER2/NEU IN TUMORS OF PATIENTS WITH BREAST CANCER

The expression of transcription factor NF- kB (p50 and p65), ER, PR and Her2/neu in tumor tis- sue of 62 patients with breast cancer was investigated. As a result of researches the correlation between Grade and expression of hormone receptors (ER and PR) was defined. p50 and p65 levels were found to be changed in dependence from expression of each marker (ER and PR) and also from tumor’s type (Luminal, Her2-posi- tive, hybrid, basal-like). These data may indicate poor prognosis and resistance to chemotherapy in breast can- cer patients with activated NF-kB, but it requires fur- ther research and retrospective analysis of large num- ber of patients.
