HISTOLOGICAL AND IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL STUDIES FOR SPECIFICATION OF LUNG CANCER HISTOGENESIS

On the basis of study of morphological structure of different histological types of lung cancer, apart from typical patterns characteristic for certain variants, we have revealed general regularity of tumor growth from basal membrane of alveolus to its center. Immunohistochemical studies with the use of MoAbs have confirmed histologically determined pattern of tumor cell growth from basal membrane of alveolus, and cells upper than basal ones for which maturation patterns and apoptotic manifestations (positiveBcl-2 and p53) are characteristic, that evidences on their alveolar genesis.
