Thepaper reviews briefly antiangigenic thera­ py as a new approach used in antitumor chemotherapy. Information presented deals with the main principles of antiangigenic therapy and its advantages compared to the traditional cytotoxic therapy. The problems are dis­ cussed which hinder the development of efficient anti­ tumor antiangigenic drugs.
