INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR THE USE OF ALEMTUZUMAB IN THERAPY OF PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC LYMPHOCYTIC LEUKEMIA

The results of international investigations of efficacy and safety of Alemtuzumab (anti-CD52 monoclonal Antibody) in the first and second-line treatment for chronic lymphocytic leukemia are summarized. The management guidelines of experts (2004 and 2009) for the indications and the use of Alemtuzumab. Treatment duration, route and dosage, patient management, prevention and treatment of events are given.
