INTRAOPERATIVE PROPER HEPATIC ARTERY CATHETERIZATION IN CASE OF HEPATIC METASTASIS

The method of treatment of patients with hepatic metastasis was investigated and translated in clinical practice. It includes carrying out of intraarterial poly chemotherapy and radiation therapy and permits to improve the short-term result and late fate. New in the proposed solution is the formation of stump mobilized vessels for catheterization thus virtually eliminate the possibility of bleeding and hematoma formation when removing the catheter, and changing position of antral stomach. By way of this method 65 patients were treated. Complications during catheter removal and prolonged his stay in their own hepatic artery was not seen. The advantage of this method of treatment that provides maximum therapeutic concentration of drugs in body and in the target zone of lymphogenic metastasis in hepatic portal, is the possibility of repeated courses of polychemotherapy with lack thrombotic complications.
