COMPLEX THERAPY OF PATIENTS WITH SKIN MELANOMA AND SOFT TISSUE SARCOMA OF EXTREMITIES AND BODY USING RADIOFREQUENCY HYPERTHERMIA

The objective: experimental ground and study of influence on efficiency of complex therapy patients with skin melanoma and soft tissue sarcoma of extremities and body mild local radiofrequency hyperthermia (RFH). Were study 34 patients with generalized form melanoma skin, 57 patients with soft tissue sarcoma of extremities and body and 30 mice line C57Bl/6 with melanoma B16. Compatible action of dacarbazine and electromagnetic irradiation decreased growth of melanoma B16 and processes of metastasis in lungs of animals accordingly on the average 48 % and 53% higher than in the group of animals applied drug only. Patient received session of RFH on the apparatus «Magniterm» (Radmir, Ukraine) after chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Treatment results of patients with generalized form of skin melanoma testified about statistically significant increase of life quality on 16% in accordance with Karnofsky scale compared to control group which was treated without RFH. Application of RFH on a background radiation therapy increased one-year survival of patients with soft tissue sarcoma of extremities and body of basic group on 13,3±0,8% compared to control group which was treated without RFH.
