TO THE QUESTION OF A RADICAL SURGICAL TREATMENT OF MALIGNANT TUMOURS OF HEART

On the basis of 48 observations the features of surgical treatment of malignant tumours of heart are investigated. Among them there were rhabdomyosarcomas (9), angiosarcoma (14), leiomyosarcoma (6), malignant myxomas (8), fibrosarcoma (5), angiofibrosarcoma (2). In one case it was necessary on a chondrosarcoma and liposarcoma. Is paid special attention to necessity of execution of maximum radical deleting of a neoplasm, that in 15 cases has required padding surgical manipulations. They included a plastics of an interatrial septum and walls of atrials, plastic operations on valves of heart, and also prosthetic repair of a valve. Is shown, that the extended size of operations does not render essential influence on shortterm results of the operation.
