FARESTON® (ТOREMIFENE): MULTIPLE EFFECTS IN PRE-CANCER AND CANCER

The paper reviews literature and own findings dealing with the efficacy and safety of Тoremifene (Fareston) in breast pre-cancer and cancer. Тoremifene is efficient in various schedules and regimens when used in breast cancer patients (regardless of the receptor status of tumor cells) as well as in dishormonal mammary dysplasia. The drug does not possess genotoxic and carcinogenic effects. Based on the extensive data available, Fareston can be recommended as standard treatment for breast cancer, including in polyhormonotherapy regimens.
