SUPPORT THERAPY IN CHEMO- RADIATION TREATMENT IN CERVICAL CANCER PATIENTS
The work presents describes a technique of chemoradiotherapy for cervical cancer(OC) usingcomplex of preventive methods and decrease of toxicities. 96 OC patients T3N01M0 were involved to the study. Groups of study included 36 patients who received combination radiotherapy on the background of capecytabine at radiomodifying doses and 32 patients receiving radiation therapy on the background of hydroxiurea. Control group consisted of 28 patients receiving radiation therapy alone. Some of the patients received ademetioninum and glucosaminil muramilpentapeptidum for detoxication and leucopoiesis and immunomodulation. For prevention of radiation cystitis, rectitis patients of both groups received amifostinumper rectumandin to the bladder. Theobtained results demonstrate that use of systemic prophylactics during chemoradiotherapy of OC patients decreases frequency of early and late radiation reactions andescape cripple damages as well as perform radiotherapy without intervals and at a full extent.
