ТHE COMPARATIVE ENDOSCOPIC AND CYTOMORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTIC OF STOMACH CANCER ACCORDING TO DATA OF IVANO-FRANKIVSK REGIONAL ONCOLOGICAL CENTER FOR 10 YEARS

It has been carried out the comparision of results of endoscopic and cytological methods of investigation in suspicion diagnostics for stomach (293 patients) and stomach cancer (1223 patients) for 10 years (1992–2001). Stomach cancer incidence increased with the patients age, its the most frequent was observed at the age group of 60–69 years. Systemic complex usage of endoscopic, cytomorphological, histological and other methods of investigation promotes for making diagnosis with further administration of proper treatment.
